Congratulations Paul and Stefan for the podium.

After giving Marcel some advice before the race, I tried Cloyd's setup again, modifying it substantially and reflecting on what was discussed, I brought the braking to 52% and many problems disappeared.

I definitely deflated the tires, increased the camber and raised the car, softened the bars and springs. The car was fine.

In the 3 hours of training I always tried with the full and the PB published on the site was in relation to the pace of the race and in fact only once I went below 2.40.00.
It's been a while since I sent it before the race
my race version times and not qualifications

In qualifying with the car light and lower I surprised myself with my PB.
This new Mod SCx has cars faster than the old by at least 3 seconds.

Good qualifications, and good start.

The first laps Alain's Chaparall was very close to me, I started to push to try to take a slight advantage, I rode around in the mixed part of the track and I climbed on the straights, really impressive as the Chaparall lined up on the straight.
Alain had a couple of chances to pass me but he was good at raising his foot in braking and unfortunately shortly after he broke.

I concentrated on keeping the pace and saving the car and brought Ferrari home ;)

Compared to the 65 I feel the big difference on the steering wheel, with the GTx I have set the configuration of my Thrustmaster TS500 from 360 ° to 560 °, so I can drive.
I am sorry for the unfortunates who did not finish the race, I hope it will be better next time.

I thank the organizers and all the drivers

See you soon
Piero

If it helps, for these cars I have found stronger roll bars especially front roll bar makes the car much easier to predict.

here is my 330 setup

To finish first, first you have to finish.

Hello Paul,
compared to mine yours is a little softer than mine but very similar.
I normally use harder bars on the front,
however at Sebring I used the rear bar harder than the front one. :o

Ciao

The Chaparral is sooo slow off the line :D
Lost a position to Paul on the start.
On the 2nd lap I passed Alain having trouble on the Straight and the following lap I saw Paul out on the green stuff after the Esses.
Suddenly I was second behind a much faster Piero and I had Stefan close behind lap after lap.
We had a great fight for the first ten laps of the race, then I clipped one of the cones on the inside of Second Bend and spins around.
Rejoins close behind Lance only to make a new mistake a couple of laps later when braking for Sunset Bend. End up on the grass, rejoins only meters in front of Pavel who can pass me on the Backstretch.
Third mistake was with one lap to go when I hit the tires at the Esses, on to the grass again and lost contact with Pavel.
To many mistakes on one race, but at least I finished the race.

Congratulations to the podium.

Maybe you would be able to control the car better with a "perfect" setup?
Hi Stefan,

My setups are not bad, I can point and shoot the car how I want. With GT was able do go negative for all tracks except Targa and Nurburg.
I just need more seat time to be more consistent and there is only one way to achieve that. Furthermore, learn to drive close again.
Now get nervous with other drivers around. Most of the time they are not patient enough to get around, allthough the driver who overtakes
is responsible for a clean pass. There are less drivers practicing on the server nowadays, at least not on my time schedule.
But next year, when I have more time, it might get better.

Greetings, Marcel
I am not a setup secialist, so I can not give you any wise tips. But I often had the experience, that when I got a setup of someone who really knows what he is doing and who spends hours creating setups, my setups were not as good as I thought before.
I don`t mean yours is bad, I just mean try a really good setup of someone (like Paul`s setup above), give it a try and if it feels better try to stick with it, or try to adopte the general settings to your setup.

As the physics and the default setup of the new SC mod has changed compared to the GT mod of 2010, I try not to use my old GT setups anymore.
I adjust the default SC mod setup or I get a good setup of someone.
Are you using your old GT setups? Or do you adjust the default setup of the new SC mod?

I want to do more online practice again on Monday evenings.
Maybe we will meet on the server, or is that time not good for you?
